Yesterday, several of Mr. Davis's agriculture students had the opportunity to go to the 808 Ranch and visit with owner Lamar Steiger. Mr. Steiger talked to the students about the importance of agriculture and FFA. We are thankful to our community partners who support our schools and contribute to student learning! The 808 Ranch recently purchased the hay hauler trailer that was built from the ground up by our student welders.

Recently, our DECA chapter attended the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida! Students had to earn the opportunity to compete by placing at the state-level competition. Our DECA members were joined by 25,000 other DECA competitors from around the world! They also had the chance to have some fun while they were there! We are proud of these students for their hard work and accomplishments! Thank you, Ms. Weast, for your leadership and guidance of our students. Our school store, The Nest, was also recognized at ICDC for being a Gold Certified School-Based Enterprise. Great work PRHS DECA!
