The Pea Ridge Special Olympics Unified Bowling team: HAWKS SOAR are State Champs!!! They competed today in Little Rock against other schools across the state. They played two Baker’s Method games with a total score of 227! The next stop will be AAA Finals on February 11th at Fastlanes! Athletes are: Eden Ross, Matthew Culotta, Zaylee Warden, Darrin Fletcher & Jace Benge.

Pea Ridge's Thespian Troupe 11113 traveled to Searcy to compete at State One Act Competition for the first time with their play Nellie. The results are in, and our Troupe received an Excellent! When competing in One Acts, your play has to be student led/designed, be able to travel, be set up in 10 minutes, performed in 45 minutes, and torn down in 5 minutes. Judges talked about how proud the troupe should be, especially for it being their first time competing for the first time. All the comments were about how well the cast and crew worked together.

FYI: please see the info graphic for the Fall semester exam schedule.

Pea Ridge High School students took an architecture tour of Crystal Bridges alongside volunteer mentors in the A.C.E. after school program. A.C.E. is for students who aspire to work or study in architecture, construction, or engineering after graduation.

Last week Mrs. Cormack's, Elmore's, and Milner's classes got to enjoy a Shakespeare show presented by TheatreSquared in Fayetteville. The show taught students about iambic pentameter, Shakespeare's history, and some of his most famous tragedies. Mrs. Elmore's Theatre classes also got to talk with the actors about what it is like to be a professional actor and do a workshop breaking down some of Shakespeare's text. It was a great afternoon!

Please join us and Step Up For Down Syndrome if you can!
