Senior Sunrise for the Class of 2024 this morning!






Did you know that students are required to pass the Arkansas Civics Exam to graduate? All Pea Ridge High School students are prepared to pass by engaging in their history and civics courses.

Attention Seniors!!! Senior picture re-takes are Wednesday, August 30th in the morning. Please bring $10 for your sitting fee. Cap, gown, and formal attire will be provided.

Rule #1: never miss a day in the culinary room! Today, Culinary II students learned how to make homemade caramel for a special treat for instructional leaders and new teachers!

The Junior High Football game scheduled for tomorrow, 8/24, will now begin at 8:00pm. Gates will open at 7:15 pm.
Also, the Varsity football game at Gravette will begin at 8:00pm on Friday, with the gates opening at 7:00pm.

Talk about a FLY Friday at Pea Ridge High School! Maximizing our newly renovated Quad, College & Career Readiness classes ended their first week with a visit from The Pea Ridge Fire Department. Healthcare students and faculty engaged in a special training to learn new features and learning tools on the Anatomage Table. The culinary lab was buzzing with a new coffee recipe!



Tomorrow night at Spirit Night The Nest will be having a sidewalk sale! All items will be $1 or $5!

Join us in celebrating Jenniffer Jacobs, our culinary arts teacher, for being nominated and selected for the ArACTE Leadership Fellows Program! In this role, Mrs. Jacobs will represent our school and state while will navigating Career and Technical Education and expanding her leadership abilities.

Substitute Training is tomorrow! If you're interested in subbing for the Pea Ridge School District this year, please join us Thursday August 10th at the Admin. building from 1:00-3:00.
You will be able to take a packet with you and bring the packet back at a later time, or stay and complete the packet, get fingerprinted and we'll get them on the sub list that day!
Returning subs won't need to fill out any paperwork, unless they have changes they need to make on building preferences etc, direct deposit info, update personal contact info etc.

The High School had a great turn out for Open House. We cannot wait to see all the students on Monday morning!



The Blackhawk Pantry will be open tonight during open house for staff and families! We are a school based free resource center stocked with kid friendly foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and household essentials. Teachers, staff, and Blackhawk families please stop by from 3:00-6:00!

Teachers and staff returned to campus today for our back to school kick off! We welcomed community stakeholders to celebrate partnerships and gift staff with back to school treats.
