Today on Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day, we want to celebrate the hardworking team that keeps the Pea Ridge School District up and running! From early mornings to late nights, they work behind the scenes to keep our buildings safe, orderly and ready for learning every single day. Our schools run smoothly because of their dedication and care. We couldn’t do it without them — thank you for all you do to keep Pea Ridge going strong!

Pea Ridge Drama Troupe is 2 months from opening night of their spring play, and the cast and crew are working so hard to make this crazy show come to life! There’s dancing, singing, sock puppets, potions, giant snakes, and of course wizards! You won’t want to miss this one! For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs...who just happened to be there too. Wayne Hopkins is a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to the same certain Wizard School where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This perhaps sounds familiar. But, Wayne is sorted as a Puff, and he and the other Puffs simply want to learn how to be wizards and how to get through seven increasingly dangerous years of school. The lovable characters in this story are “Funny, intelligent, silly, heartwarming, a little worn and slightly ignored.” Ultimately, Puffs is a tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. Go Badgers!

Today our Girls Basketball Team plays at 4:00pm in Dardanelle vs. Berryville. We would love to have as many fans there as possible to support our Girls. The Pea Ridge Middle School Quiz Bowl Team hosted a mock competition today in order to help local teams prepare for their upcoming competition season. Moderated by Coach Cook with scorekeeping help from Ms. Harrison and Mr. Dotson, students from PRMS, Gravette and Gentry had the opportunity to put their skills to the test! We wish the best of luck to our quiz bowl teams as their competition season heats up!

It's Game day for the Lady Hawks! Our Varsity Girls take the court at 4 PM in the Regional Tournament against Clarksville! A win locks them into the State Tournament. Help us wish the girls good luck today in Dardanelle! #GoHawks!

Congrats to three of our HOSA members who placed at state and earned the opportunity to compete in Nashville this summer at HOSA Internationals! These students are medical professionals in the making! 🏥🥼🩺 Kennedy Williams - 2nd place in "Medical Assistant" Emmitt Dayberry & Jaxon Spillman - 3rd place in "Community Emergency Response Team" Also, congrats to Mr. Bobbitt for being recognized for 10 years of service as a HOSA Adivsor! Congratulations to the Pea Ridge Track Hawks ‼️ Over the weekend our boys finished as Indoor State Runner-Ups, and our girls clinched another Indoor State Championship title. 🏆🏆 Huge congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and supporters!

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is staying warm and looking forward to the forecasted warmer days ahead. Unfortunately, Pea Ridge Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 21, 2025. Our rural and side roads are not passable enough for limited bus service and our campuses’ parking lots and sidewalks are not currently safe for students and staff. Our 2024-2025 academic calendar was developed to allow for 5 instructional days to be missed before adding days to the school year. Tomorrow will be our 6th missed day of instruction and will be made up on Friday, April 18, 2025. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we navigate this winter storm. Parent Teacher Conferences/Career Action Planning Rescheduled Due to winter weather, all after-school conferences for this week have been rescheduled for next week. Please see the graphic below for specific dates and times. When you come, you will have the opportunity to visit with any of your child’s teachers, as well as finalize their course selections for the 25-26 school year.  You are welcome to attend on either Monday or Tuesday night!  Thursday night is for our current freshmen to get one on one advising at Pea Ridge High School to finalize their course selections for next school year.  If any parent or student would like to discuss options or get more course selection information right now while we are snowed in, the junior high counselors would be happy to set up a virtual meeting with you. CAP Conferences/Parent Teacher Conferences Due to winter weather, all after-school conferences for this week have been rescheduled for next week. Please see the graphic below for specific dates and times. When you come, you will have the opportunity to visit with any of your child’s teachers, as well as finalize their course selections for the 25-26 school year. Advanced Placement and Concurrent Credit will be discussed on Monday and CTE pathways will be targeted on Tuesday. Remember that any rising Junior or Senior can attend either night. 🎶 On February 8th, three High School Band students traveled to Jonesboro to audition for the all-state band. Josh McCaslin made 2nd Band, 5th Chair ranking 11th chair French Horn in the state overall! He will be traveling to Hot Springs to rehearse and perform with the all-state bands! Congratulations Josh! 🎶

📣 The Pea Ridge Thespian Troupe 11113 competed in the Arkansas State Thespian Festival this past weekend. They took away 10 “Excellence” certificates and 5 superior medals! On top of that, Kara Presley took home a prestigious and competitive scholarship from the organization. This is their second time attending and they tripled the amount of awards won from last year! Way to go Thespian Troupe!🤩🎬
