Your 2nd quarter HOUSE winners... ALTRUISMO!!! Congrats🖤 They celebrated their victory with an epic dodgeball game!

BIG Congrats to Cordelia and Braxton for winning our gingerbread house contest! ♥️

Last week before winter break. Remember we have four more days of dress up fun if your student wants to join in.

"Today, GT had a blast with Theatre Squared! They came and workshopped with us about Stage Fright and Improv, and we learned so much. My favorite part was when students' quick wits created hilarious stories in our 'fortunate/unfortunate' game. Improv helped us think on our feet and embrace the unexpected, which can help overcome stage fright. And our next Act includes excerpts from Christmas Carol and The Iliad! 🎭 #Improv #StageFright #Theatre"

The PRMS library has been transformed into a Christmas village full of sweet and creative gingerbread houses! Students started voting on their favorite house and judges will vote next week. Which house is YOUR favorite? :)

We are one week away from our Blackhawk Spirt Day and our Awards Assembly. Please look at the flyers below with information about our Blackhawk Assembly and the concessions we will sale on that day.

Don't forget our holiday spirit dress up days start on Monday at PRMS if your student would like to join in.

Just a reminder that the Gingerbread House decorating contest sign up deadline is tomorrow. Gingerbread houses are due by the 12th. Our two winners will win these festive BRR baskets! 🎄♥️
If you are still interested in signing up, see the previous post with more information.

We will be having Holiday Spirit Dress Up days during the month of December at PRMS. We will be starting these one week from today on December 9th. These are optional dress up days as we finish up the semester.

Get excited, PRMS!
It's time to see your creative side. By signing up for our Gingerbread House Decorating Competition, you agree to build and decorate a gingerbread house. It can be a kit, it can be a completely original design. This is a fun way to bond with your families and show some festivity for the upcoming holidays. Build your house at home, then bring it to school for the school to see. We will have a student vote, and we will have judges vote for their favorite houses. Winners will receive a JOY basket filled with lots of comfy and tasty goodies. *If you wish to participate and need assistance with purchasing materials for the competition, please see me as I have some kits available for those who need them.

The PRMS book club finished reading the Wild Robot by Peter Brown, so naturally we just had to see the movie in theaters!
Happy Reading, PRMS! ♥️

Don't foget to order your Grateful Grams. We will send them home on Friday, November 22nd. We still have forms in the office if your child is needing more.

Huge shoutout today to April Smith, Amy Bollenbacher & Jaylen Strode for providing the delicious apple bar today for our faculty & staff! You guys are amazing and we appreciate you so much! 🍏🍎

We just want to make one more big shout out to our community groups and businesses that made donations and contributions to make our new basketball court possible. Thank you again for making our school a more amazing place for our students.

There have been some fun additions and work being done around the Middle School playground due to some amazing families and community members. Jackson Brothers Concrete Finishing LLC spent our fall break weekend donating their time and services getting the ground ready and pouring an amazing basketball court for our playground. It was also possible from the wonderful donation of concrete from APAC concrete.
This past week we were able to get the court finished with the basketball goals. These were made possible from an amazing donation made by one of our 6th grade students Ben Davenport. He was able to make this donation to support our playground with the profits from his pickle business he has created. One more shout out is to our wonderful PTO that helped organize it and help buy basketballs and supplies needed for the installation. We couldn't have made these things happen without all the wonderful partners and their donations. Thank you so much for supporting our students and children.

It's time to celebrate!! Happy Birthday to our amazing principal, Ms. Rebecca Allen! PRMS is so thankful for you and wishes you the BEST day today. 🖤♥️🤍

Today, Pea Ridge Middle School honored our nation's heroes with a special Veterans Day assembly, featuring guest speakers LT Col Braxton Hurst and U.S. Congressman Steve Womack.
