Intermediate School Parents and Guardians: There will be some changes to our normal routines for student drop-off and pick up beginning Thursday, May 2, 2024 with afternoon student pick up. North Davis Street will be closed due to road work. A map below has been provided to show detours and the specific areas of N. Davis that will be closed. Law enforcement will be on-site to support traffic and congestion. Please be advised that there might be delays that affect travel times on Thursday afternoon and all day on Friday.

April is military kids month. We want to make sure we recognize all of our students who have military parents. Please take a moment to fill out the attached form by Friday, April 12 if your child is a military child. This includes all active, retired, reserved, and veteran children. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeNzN05q8RVD3aNqZZ6Qjxu3nvUEX-dfge3b_xiLaikbH0v3g/viewform

Celebrate Reading with our Wonderful Librarians!

Parents and Community,
Please drive with caution this morning as you bring your child to school. We have areas in our community that were damaged in last night’s storm. Trees and powerlines are down in areas and the city and power company are working to clear the roads and restore power. At this time McColloch and Patton Streets are closed and our traffic flow will be slowed down.
If your family has been impacted by the storm, please let your child’s school know so that we can assist if possible.
Again, thank you for your patience this morning and our hearts go out to our families and community members impacted.
Keith Martin

Preparing for the unexpected and staying safe together!
Our intermediate students are diving into safety drills, learning important procedures to ensure everyone's well-being. From fire drills to emergency protocols, we're committed to equipping our students with the knowledge and skills to stay safe in any situation.

This week, Pea Ridge School District will be conducting a lockdown drill as part of our ongoing commitment to Blackhawk safety.
During the drill, your child will be guided by their teachers on what to do in the event of an emergency situation. We hope as students and staff go through the drill they will feel more comfortable with the process. Our goal is that our students have the knowledge and skills to stay safe at school.
