Pea Ridge Intermediate School is thrilled to welcome Mr. Nicholas Fellner as our new Assistant Principal! Mr. Fellner joins us from Parson Hills Elementary in Springdale, where he made significant contributions as an Academic Support Interventionist and a 5th-grade teacher. He also served as an active participant in the Springdale School District Guiding Coalition and the Parson Hills leadership team. "I am truly honored and blessed for the opportunity to join the students, staff, and families at Pea Ridge Intermediate School and in the Pea Ridge community. I am highly motivated to provide quality support and collaborative leadership as a member of this professional learning community. Thank you to Mrs. Woods, the Pea Ridge leadership team, school board, and the Intermediate faculty and staff for entrusting me to lead and support our Blackhawk family.” Mr. Fellner enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with his family: his wife, Jaden, their two-year-old son, Easton, and six-month-old daughter, Janie. He is also an avid Razorback fan.

Ms. Sondra has been such a light at PRIS from her decorated cart to her joyful attitude. She will be retiring this year, and our kids made sure her last day with students was extra special.

For the 24-25 school year, Pea Ridge Intermediate had the opportunity to partner with ForwARd Arkansas through the Learner Collective. Throughout the year they worked with Coach Erica Crane and the parent based community committee to meet the needs of students and families- implementing student led conferences and a curriculum night. This week, they were able to present on a panel of that work in Little Rock to other schools and stakeholders in Arkansas. We look forward in partnering with you soon to continue to improve the family and community experience with our school.

Mrs. Wright's class had a soaring time at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum! They learned some of how our country was defended by the brave men and women who served our country and they got to look, and explore, in some old aircrafts!

Big news from Pea Ridge Intermediate! We’re proud to announce that Mrs. Woods has been named our new Principal! A proud Pea Ridge High School graduate, Mrs. Woods has spent the last 15 years serving students as a high school English teacher, volleyball coach, and most recently, as our assistant principal. She’s Pea Ridge raised, deeply rooted in this community, and excited to lead in the same district where her own children—Silas and Emerson —are growing up. Please help us congratulate Mrs. Woods as she steps into this new role!

🎉 A Huge Congratulations to Maddox “Max” Thetford! 🎉 We are thrilled to celebrate Max for raising the most money in the Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser this year, benefiting the American Heart Association. 💖 Students at Pea Ridge Intermediate had the chance to raise money by seeking donations through a special website to support this important cause. Coach Mitch Thompson not only encouraged participation but also shared valuable lessons with the students about living a heart-healthy lifestyle. 🏃‍♂️🍎 Max went above and beyond, raising an impressive $250 for the American Heart Association! 👏👏 Way to go, Max! We are so proud of your dedication and generosity.
