We’re so proud of our future Blackhawks!

We’re excited to host our very first Kindergarten Signing Day at Pea Ridge Primary on April 16th! Future kindergarteners will get a special welcome as they take their first official step into the Blackhawk family. 💙✏️📚
Come celebrate this milestone with us — we can’t wait to meet the Class of 2038! 🤩
* The primary school will continue to offer opportunities to participate if you cannot attend on the 16th. The backdrop and photo op will be available after the 16th through the rest of April from 8 a.m. to noon.*

✏️Pre-K Update! 🏫
We still have spots available in our pre-k program for the 25-26 school year for those needing income-based enrollment (meaning you qualify for tuition assistance).
Our tuition-based spots are currently full, but there is a waitlist that you can be added to if you would like.
If you know any families that could benefit, please share!
* Reminder that priority will be given to 4-year-olds. But, we may have a limited number of spots for 3-year-olds who will turn 4 on or before November 1st.*

The district wide Fine Arts are gearing up for our 3rd annual Fine Arts Thing in the Spring!
Stop by the High School April 3rd 5-7:00pm to look at some art, listen to different types of music, and watch some theatre including a Children's Musical: The Magical Land of Oz.
It's a completely free event! From our youngest and oldest performers and artists, you won't want to miss all the amazing talent!

With the possibility of inclement weather on February 18th, our plan is as follows for pre-k enrollment:
1- Forms will still go live on February 18th on our website (whether open or closed).
2- If we are closed on Tuesday, forms can be turned in as soon as we are back in school & our office is open! Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Fridays.
* Reminder that forms must be turned in to the district office in person. They cannot be electronically submitted.* Thank you!
❄️As always, we are watching the weather closely and will update everyone with information as soon as possible. ❄️

Good Morning. Bus 3A, 3B, 24A, 24B will be delayed this morning, beginning routes at 7:45 am. Please remember to dress warm today!

If You See Something, Say Something®” is more than just a slogan; we all play a role in keeping our communities safe. For #SeeSayDay 2024, we encourage the public to "Spot the Signs. Report the Activity". On September 25 and year-round, stay prepared to spot the signs, report suspicious activity to local authorities, and help prevent terrorism-related crime.
