If You See Something, Say Something®” is more than just a slogan; we all play a role in keeping our communities safe. For #SeeSayDay 2024, we encourage the public to "Spot the Signs. Report the Activity". On September 25 and year-round, stay prepared to spot the signs, report suspicious activity to local authorities, and help prevent terrorism-related crime.

Don't forget, this Friday we have our first family event at PRMS! Rain or shine, we will get our homecoming tailgate on from 4-6 at PRMS. FREE hot dog meal, concessions to purchase, games, face painting, and FUN!

It's time to sign up for the 2024 Future Blackhawk Cheerleader Clinic!
The Clinic will be held October 7th, 8th and 10th at the Pea Ridge Jr. High Gym after school from 3:30-5pm.
Cost per student is $60. This includes 3 days of after school clinic, snacks each day, tshirt, free admission into the game, halftime performance and LOADS OF FUN! All cheerleaders will perform Friday October 11th at the HS football game!

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS SEPTEMBER 27TH.

Today 6th grade Gifted and Talented students traveled to Rogers to participate in a field trip from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts on Squishy Circuits.
Students investigated the science of electricity using this squishy dough and basic electronic components. Specific topics included conductivity and resistivity, circuits, and electrical safety. They also talked about examples of electrical conductivity in the “real world” – in the body and beyond!








Homecoming is next week, which means it's time to get your spirit outfits ready! See the dress-up spirit days for Homecoming next week. Go Blackhawks!

Calling all little pirates and princesses!
Join for breakfast dressed in your best pirate or princess attire... or PJ's will even work! With a purchase of a ticket, guests will get a pancake breakfast, crafts, games, a treasure hunt and a small show. Recommend for ages 3-10 years old. It is $15 a ticket or a group of 4 for $50 or 6 for $80. All funds go to help support the Pea Ridge Drama Troupe and Culinary. Spots are filling fast and it's a limited amount of seats! Please fill out the provided Google Form and pay for your ticket via the link at the bottom of the form by Oct. 1.

Hello Blackhawk Families! The Blackhawk Pantry will have a special holiday opening for the parents/guardians of students on Thursday, August 29th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. to help families stock up before Labor Day Weekend. The Pantry is located at 1536 North Davis Street.

6th graders are doing a gallery walk with pictures from the Great Depression to build their background knowledge for their upcoming unit.
