District Wide

  • Families, please continue to report positive COVID cases of children in the district. By remaining diligent, we can decline the need to go virtual for entire buildings and grade levels and most importantly, we can ensure better safety for our students and staff. Cases can be reported HERE.
  • As a reminder, below are our current quarantine guidelines as recommended by the Arkansas Department of Health.  Please remember, if you choose to have your student tested and they are able to return on the 8th day with a negative test result, please send a copy of the negative result to the school.  This can be sent with your student or via email.
  • Quarantine can end after Day 10 (i.e. Return on Day 11) without testing and if no symptoms have been reported during daily monitoring.
  • Quarantine can end after Day 7 (i.e. Return on Day 8) if a close contact tests negative (“send-off” PCR preferred but rapid acceptable) and if no symptoms were reported during daily monitoring. The specimen may be collected no sooner than a full 5 days after exposure, but quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than after Day 7. Must bring a copy of the negative test upon return to school.
  •  If at any time someone in quarantine as a close contact develops symptoms of COVID-19, they should immediately isolate and get tested for COVID-19 (even if they previously had a negative test during this quarantine).
  • We emphasize that the above two options only apply to those who have no symptoms.

High School

  • From our Principal, please read the below announcement regarding Parent Teacher Conferences this week:

I am pleased to report that PRHS just had its 100th day of school, and we are halfway through the 3rd quarter.  We could not have done it without your continued support during this global pandemic.  It is now time to conduct our second round of Parent-Teacher Conferences.

We will not be able to offer Parent / Teacher Conferences in person.  However, you may schedule a virtual meeting with teachers during the week of February 15.  The best way to connect with teachers in order to schedule a conference is through Calendly.  You can find each teacher’s Calendly link here: PRHS Faculty.

We look forward to connecting with you!  If you need further assistance, please call Pea Ridge High School at 800 451-1343.

Since the weather is causing school to go virtual, plans have changed for the Valentine’s Day Candy Grams. We will continue to take orders until Wednesday, February 17th. We will deliver orders on Friday, February 19th. We realize that is after Valentine’s Day, but we want to make sure everyone who wants to order can still do that. If your child needs a new order form, have them pick one up in the PRIS library.

Every year, all pre-k and kindergarten students need a physical as part of their enrollment and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends annual wellness checks throughout childhood! Community Clinic Pea Ridge has four bicycles patients will have a chance to win if they schedule their physical or immunizations at our clinic in February!  Call our office 479-488-3003 to schedule your appointment to be “Ready to Roll!” into next school year!
