February is National CTE Month!

Blackhawk Pantry is Open!

The Blackhawk Pantry,ย located behind Pea Ridge Intermediate School at 1536 North Davis Street, is stocked and ready to serve our students, families, faculty, and friends in Pea Ridge! Everybody is welcome, so stop by and pick out items you need onย Thursdays from 7:30 am -3:30 pm.ย  Our pantry is stocked with kid-friendly meals, fresh produce, Tyson chicken, and other resources

Seal of Biliteracy Exam

We’re so proud of our students taking the Seal of Biliteracy Exam on March 3rd! This testing date is for students who have demonstrated a desire to become biliterate and wish to become certified, proving proficiency in two languages. We have students taking this exam in both Spanish and Italian. We’re cheering you on as you prepare to test for this prestigious honor!

Juried Art Show

We had an incredible turnout for our art show! Loved watching all the kid’s faces light up as they showed their friends and families their artwork. Thank you to all students who participated and attendees who showed their support for our creative kids!ย ๐ŸŽจ

As always, the health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority and informs everything we do.
It’s important to screen your students daily for the symptoms of COVID-19 prior to bus use or sending them to school. If your student is showing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please keep your student home and continue to report positive COVID-19 cases.ย

March 4th from 12:45 -1:45 pm at Pea Ridge Middle School.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Save the Date for Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences! In our building, conferences will take place Tuesday, February 22nd, and Thursday, February 24th. More information will be available in the next week or two.ย 
Pea Ridge Junior High values the importance of creating specialized time to help inform and inspire our students and families. Rising Parent Night was founded with the intention of serving our current 6th, 7th, & 8th grade student population with the next steps of their academic journey. This event will focus on providing valuable information that includes course selections, clubs offered, college & career readiness pathway progression, and the ability for students & parents to meet teachers and administrators who serve here on our campus. It is our hope that you join us for this event and that it is a welcoming and informative time at Pea Ridge Junior High.
The times for each rising grade are listed below:
– Rising 7th Graders 5:00-5:45
– Rising 8th Graders 5:45-6:15
– Rising 9th Graders 6:15-6:45
