Mr. Johnson’s 7th grade Community Service class will be accepting unwrapped toys at the football games on Thursday, October 10, and Friday, October 11. These toys will be used to help supplement the Angel Tree. Please look for the donation bins inside the south gate of Blackhawk Stadium.
District Flu Shot Clinic
Our district flu shot clinic will be Tuesday, Oct. 15. Consent forms have been sent home with the students. Please return the forms to your child’s school by Tuesday, Oct. 8. All staff and faculty are encouraged to get their flu shot on this day as well. Please contact your school nurse with questions.
“Beat Shiloh” T-Shirt
Bright Futures Pea Ridge is selling a “Beat Shiloh” t-shirt for $15. Proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go to support the needs of students in Pea Ridge by providing access to food, clothing, academic supplies, personal hygiene items, and scholarships. Orders can be placed online through the link below. You can have your shirts delivered to your home for a small shipping fee, or they can be sent to the school for free. If you have them sent to the school, they will be available for pickup at the Green Forest football game on November 1.

Sharing & Caring of Benton County
Sharing & Caring of Benton County is preparing for the holiday season. The program helps local children by lending a helping hand to families in need during the holiday season. More information about assistance, volunteering, donating, and sponsoring children is located here:

Heart and Soul Shoe Drive
October 3 – December 13th
Donate New Tennis Shoes for PRS Students in Grades K-12. Shoes can be dropped off at each campus to the school nurse. Cash donations can be made at the high school in the care of Cheryl Tillman. Please make checks payable to Pea Ridge Schools.

Pea Ridge Primary Annual Fall Festival
Save the Date!! The Fall Festival will be Thursday, October 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We are asking that each child bring at least one bag of candy to their teacher for this event. For more information click here.
Entry Fee: $5 per child (ages three and up) – $20 maximum per family

Donuts with Dad
Friday, October 11: Join your Primary student for a breakfast of donuts, milk, and coffee from 7:15 AM – 8 AM in the school gym. A form went home with each of the students, please return that form with your RSVP.
October 14: Super Hawks Pod field trip to the pumpkin patch
October 16: PLP Pod 2.0 field trip to the Pumpkin Patch
The Flu Clinic will be held on Tuesday, October 15. Please make sure to get permission slips turned in before this day if you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine. If you need the form again you can contact Nurse Janine in the Primary School Office.

Food to bring: Bottled water, Ramen Noodles, small bagged chips, Little Debbies, fruit cups, peanut butter/cheese crackers, fruit snacks, Uncrustables, and non-refrigerated fruits. (please make sure at least some of these foods are nut-free) Any snack provided will help.

Pea Ridge Seniors and Parents needing assistance applying for federal aid:
FAFSA Night will be held on October 15 from 6-7:30 pm in the High School Cafeteria. Please bring a Chromebook or laptop.
A representative from Arkansas School of Math, Science and the Arts (ASMSA) will be in the library on November 1 at 10:00 a.m. ASMSA is a residential school located in Hot Springs, AR. Interested applicants should be high-achieving 8-10th-grade students with a GPA of 3.25.

FCCLA is offering cinnamon rolls by the dozen again this year as a fundraiser! Hot and Ready for tailgating (or for your weekend breakfast!) Only $12/dozen! Pre-pay with cash or check. (Checks can be made out to Pea Ridge FCCLA) Orders due by Tuesday, October 8 and pick up Friday, October 11.
