Spring Break

Spring Break: March 23-27

Due to growing concerns associated with COVID-19, all extracurricular athletics, events, and activities are canceled until further notice. This includes cheerleading tryouts, choir performances, musicals, etc. We will keep you updated as we continue to know more information. It is our number one priority to keep our district safe and healthy.

Health Safety Reminder

Flu season is upon us!   Please do not send your sick child to school to infect healthy students and staff.

If your child has a fever today, they should not be at school tomorrow. If you have to give them Tylenol or Motrin for a fever today, they should stay home from school tomorrow. If your child has vomiting and/or diarrhea today, they should not be at school tomorrow. Remember that hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of infection and keep yourself healthy.

It is in our best interest to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. Thank you, for understanding.

Multi-Use Trails Within the City

The city is dedicated to creating multi-use trails within the city, but they want your help. The city is looking for citizens to write letters stating what having trails within Pea Ridge would mean for you and your family. The purpose is not only to show that there is interest, but that the trails will be put to use.

This is happening, but the question is the amount of funding. These letters will help lay the foundation of trails within the Ridge.

Deliver the letters to the Middle School office, or you may drop them off at the city office.

Band Instrument Donations Needed

Do you have an old band instrument that needs a good home?  The Pea Ridge Band can use it!  Donating your instrument to the band is eligible as a tax write off for the value of the instrument.

The instruments that we can use are: flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, and percussion kits.

Please contact Matt Pohl or Matt McCool at 1-800-451-1343 by email at: matthew.pohl@pearidgek12.commmccool@pearidgek12.com.

Middle School

Pea Ridge Junior High Facebook Group

As we plan and prepare for the exciting reconfiguration that will take place prior to the 2020-2021 academic year, we want to be sure that parents have the resources they need and are connected.

We’ve created this group, similar to the other building groups for incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

As the end of this school year nears, we’ll begin to make the shift for the other groups. In the meantime, if your child will be attending Junior High (7-9) next year, we invite you to join this group for Junior High specific content and details.

Join the Junior High Facebook Group here.
