Parent Nights

Parent nights for the 2020-2021 School year will be an opportunity to learn about the changes coming up in the next school year with the opening of the new high school and the reconfiguration of other buildings within the district. Please join us on one of the following dates.

Blackhawk Winter Hitting Clinic

Minors (Ages 7-10 before May 1): January 27-29, 6-7:30 PM
Majors/Babe Ruth (Ages 11-14): February 3-5, 6-7:30 PM

Both clinics will take place at the Pea Ridge High School Indoor Facility
Clinic Fee is $35 per athlete – Non-Refundable
(A $10 discount will be applied per additional siblings)

**Please bring a batting helmet and baseball bat to each session. Cleats are optional
**Make all checks payable to: Blackhawk HS Baseball
**Return Registration form to your child’s school office or at the indoor facility on the date of your child’s clinic.

2020 Colors Day Shirt

Pea Ridge DECA/Small Business students were tasked with creating the 2020 Colors Day shirt. After a unanimous vote, the students have decided to use Ayden Cotton’s design with an added touch from our vendor.

These shirts will be printed on a red Comfort Colors shirt. They will be $20 with part of the proceeds going to the Cotton family to aid in whatever they need. Youth sizes Small-XL are available and Adult sizes S-4X are available.

Please fill out this form for every shirt you would like to purchase. All orders and payments are due to Mrs. Young or The NEST by Thursday, January 30.

Band Instrument Donations Needed

Do you have an old band instrument that needs a good home?  The Pea Ridge Band can use it!  Donating your instrument to the band is eligible as a tax write off for the value of the instrument. 

The instruments that we can use are: flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, and percussion kits.

Live in Light Fundraiser

Gracie Easterling and Olivia McCracken are selling t-shirts to raise money for, Live in Light, an organization that strives to help women, children, and communities suffering from social and spiritual poverty. Their DECA project, Integrated Marketing – Service, requires them to pick an organization to raise awareness and support to grow within our community. These young ladies have worked hard in preparing for their presentation where they will discuss their goals and vision for the future of Live in Light.

If you would like to help support them and this organization by ordering a t-shirt or would like to make a donation, please email Gracie at gracieeasterling12@gmail.com.

Orders and payment are due by Thursday, January 23.

Paris, the Riviera, and Rome Tour

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Students, parents, and teachers are invited to join Jacob & Melissa Meyers on their upcoming tour, Paris, the Riviera, and Rome.

Departure Date: Monday, June 21, 2021 
Departure City: Bentonville, AR
Trip Length: 9 days
Overnights: Paris 2, Nice 2, Florence 1, Rome 2

Intermediate School Little Pantry

PRMS would greatly appreciate your help in keeping our campus’ Little Pantry filled. Please donate items that can be used to stock our Little Pantry to the PRIS office.

Item Examples Include:

  • Ramen Noodles
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Vienna Sausages
  • Soup
  • Cereal
  • Crackers
  • Baby Items
  • Personal Care Items

Please no glass items.

There is a little pantry on the Intermediate Campus (front lawn facing E Pickens). There are 2 other Little Panties set up within our district as well (one near Mercy Clinic and the other is at Twelve Corners First Baptist). You may donate to these pantries or use them anytime. Take what you need. Leave what you can.

Roaring 20’s Dance

PRMS Roaring 20’s Dance will be on February 7 from 5:30-7:30 PM. There will be a $5 Entrance Free as well as concessions and a photobooth.

CAP Conferences

CAP conferences for rising 7th and 8th-grade students will be held on February 17 from 12:00 – 6:00 PM at PRMS. It is important that students attend this conference with their parents so they can plan together for the upcoming school year. Conferences for rising 9th-grade students will be held during the month of March More information will be available at a later date.

Book Donations

The Middle School Students are collecting book donations. Please dropoff in the Middle School Library.

High School

The American Legion Scholarship

Attention Seniors:
Requirements to apply for this scholarship are as follows:

1. Must be children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of  American Legionnaires in good standing for two or more consecutive years. Stepchildren may also apply. 
2. Applicant or Legionnaire MUST be a resident of Arkansas
$1,000 Coudret Trust Scholarship
$2,500 Garner Trust Scholarship
Application and supporting documents must be submitted by MARCH 13, 2020. Application and supporting information can be picked up outside the scholarship office in the file basket

Benton County Conservation District Essay Contest

This is for any senior who is planning on attending college in Arkansas.
Essay theme: “Where would we BEE without Pollinators?”
First Place: $1,000
Second Place: $500
All entries must be submitted by February 19, 2020. For more information, pick up an application outside the scholarship office in the file basket.
